The Big BRIO 65th anniversary Giveaway

1) Open dates: Nominations are open until 11.59pm on 19th November 2023. Nominations made after this time will not be included in the draw.

2) No purchase necessary: No purchase is necessary. It is free to make a nomination and recipient settings will not be required to make any purchase in order to receive a BRIO Play Table.

3) Nominator Eligibility: Nominations for entry are welcomed from individuals over the 18 on the closing date only who are resident in the UK or ROI. Each nominator may enter one nomination for one early years setting only. For the avoidance of doubt, a representative of an eligible early years setting may nominate their own setting. Nominations are not permitted from any employee of Ravensburger UK Limited or their agents, and their immediate family members. By making a nomination you are confirming that you are eligible to do so based on this criteria.

4) Early Years Setting Eligibility: The 65 BRIO play tables will be awarded to early years settings registered by the relevant authority in their region (at the time of publication, OFSTED or ISI in England; CIW in Wales; Care Inspectorate in Scotland; local HSC Trusts in Northern Ireland; TUSLA in Republic of Ireland) The setting must be providing care in a non-domestic setting in the UK or ROI only. The promoter reserves the right to exclude any nominations for settings not meeting the above stated criteria.

5) Prizes:  There are 65 prizes of a BRIO Play Table in total available and therefore 65 nominated early years settings will each receive one BRIO Play Table. No cash alternative is available and the prize is non-transferable. The BRIO Play Tables are designed and intended for use in early years and public settings and are therefore not suitable for private home settings. It should be noted that the BRIO Play Table measures approximately by 120cm long by 77cm wide and 60cm high and comes complete with accessories that are suitable from age 3 years and up. Some assembly is required.

6) Making a nomination: Entry is by using the online typeform provided only. There is no limit to the number of nominations a setting can receive, however each nominator may only make one nomination.

7) Choosing the 65 recipients: The 65 winning settings will be chosen using a computerised random generator from the total qualifying nominations received.

8) Notifying the recipients: The 65 chosen settings will be notified by post within 28 days of the closing date.  In order to receive the BRIO Play Table, the setting must respond within 14 days of receipt and return to the promoter a signed prize acceptance agreement declaring their eligibility to receive the prize and releasing the promoter and any affiliated partners from any liability in connection with the use of the prize. Recipients will also be required to agree to the setting name and town being made publicly available.  Where a setting fails to respond or agree to the prize acceptance terms and conditions, the BRIO Play Table will be awarded to a reserve setting selected at the time of making the draw.

9) General Terms and Conditions: The promoter accepts no responsibility for any nominations that are lost or unreceived for any reason. The promoter reserves the right to delete nominations made by any individual who is suspected of attempting to circumvent the rules of this giveaway or making fraudulent nominations.

10) Cancellation or amendment: The promoter in its sole discretion reserves the right to amend the terms of or cancel entirely this promotion due to any virus, unauthorised interference or any other causes beyond their control.

11) Delivery and use: The play table will be delivered by courier and a correct delivery address and contact telephone number must be provided to facilitate delivery. The promoter accepts no responsibility for the incorrect installation or misuse of the BRIO Play Table after delivery. Please allow up to ten weeks for delivery.

12) The Recipients: A list of the 65 recipients (setting name and town only) of the BRIO Play Table will be available by sending a written request along with a stamped address envelope to Customer Services, Ravensburger UK Ltd, Unit 3-5 Avonbury Business Park, Bicester, OX26 2UA no earlier than six weeks after the closing date.

13) Publicity: Recipient settings and those who nominated them may be asked to participate in publicity following the closing date. It is not a requirement in order to receive a BRIO Play Table, however we would like to make it clear that you may be asked to do so.

14) Privacy: Any personal data taken will be used solely for the purposes of administering this giveaway or in accordance with our Privacy Policy. In addition to the data processing described above, this means that we may inform the Recipient that their selection is based on your nomination. By making a nomination, you are agreeing to your data being used in this way.

1) Where there is a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material or any other details provided at the time of entry, the details in the promotional material shall prevail.

2) Entry is open to residents of the UK and ROI only, except employees and their families of Ravensburger, its agents and any other companies associated with the competition. You may be requested to provide a proof of purchase to validate your entry.

3) Entrants must be aged 18 years or older at the closing date.

4) Only one prize will be issued per household per competition.

5) The prize is as stated on the competition information promoted on our website or social media channel and above. No cash alternatives are offered and prize is not transferable.

6) Ravensburger Ltd reserves the right to provide a prize of equivalent or greater value where the stated prize becomes no longer available.

7) Closing date is as stated on the competition information promoted via our website or nominated social media channel.

8) In order to be entered into the competition, entrants must comply with entry requirements stated for the competition you are entering. For example these may include ‘retweeting’ our competition or ‘following’ our social media channel. Please see specific entry requirements on the nominated competition promotional channel.

9) Winners will be notified within 21 days of closing date of the competition via the social media account that they entered the competition. Failure to respond to our contact with 14 days will mean unfortunately that the prize is forfeited on this occasion.

10) Prizes will be delivered to a UK or ROI address only. A correct address and contact telephone number must be provided to facilitate delivery. Ravensburger will accept no responsibility for prizes that fail to be delivered due to incorrect details being provided.

11) Ravensburger takes no responsibility for unreceived or incomplete entries.

12) Winners agree to the use of their name and county be used in post-win publicity and to co-operate with additional reasonable requested by the promoter to participate in post-win publicity – this may include but not be limited to provision of a photo of winner with their prize for use on social media channels and Ravensburger's website

13) Winners are chosen by random prize draw from the entries fulfilling the entry criteria unless otherwise stated. No correspondence will be entered into.

14) Surname and town of winners can be obtained by emailing [email protected] no sooner than six weeks after the closing date.

15) Ravensburger reserves the right to terminate the competition or alter the terms of the competition at any time.

16) Any entrant found to be using or creating multiple social media profiles for the purposes of entry will be disqualified. Similarly automated or robotic entries submitted by companies or individuals will also be disqualified. Any entry containing defamatory language or messaging considered by the promoter to be inappropriate will be disqualified from the competition.

17) The listing of any competitions on third party websites or apps such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook does not imply that said third parties in any way endorse competition, brand or product.

18) By entering the competition entrants agree to be bound by the promoter’s Privacy Policy.

19) By entering the competition entrants agree to be bound by and comply to the terms and conditions.

20) By entering the competition entrants agree to the use of their names and images in publicity and use of these images on our website and social media channels.
